It's been a while since I've posted here... Seems like many things have changed.
If you saw this drawing on DeviantArt, yes, it's also mine. This drawing is for a friend, because she gave me a drawing for my birthday. Even though I didn't give this to her on her birthday, I just wanted to give it to her anyway.
I really like the result of my instictive impulse to correct stuff on the drawing here and there, though I think I may need to work on it more. Even so, I think it's enough so I gave it to her.
Made on some rough paper (notice the texture) with 4H, HB, 2B and 6B pencils. Comments and criticisms are encouraged so I can work better.

28... very good effort.
The only thing I would change for sure is to tone down the top of the hook on the left of the nose, and the bubble to the left of it...
Could work on the shading below the eye on the right as you look at it to blend the right edge of it At the moment i find that whole shadow stands out a bit much. The nice thing about pencil is you can go back and change it. Even the end of your finger is enough to change the shading at this point.
For example, you could blend the shading on the bottom lip a bit and darken in the outsides as it comes to a point.

Great stuff there. The shading and all is very nice, it's always good to see a piece truly defined simply by shading instead of outlines.
I would agree with Darwould, though only after he said it. Seems to know his stuff!
