Hello. As some of you may know, I am attending Full Sail University and getting a Computer Animation degree. This month I start using maya. I've been playing with it for a little before the class started. but yea
It's good to hear that you're branching off and diversifying your skills. Do you find it easy to model in Maya? I have very very minor experience in it and I'm wondering how simple you find the program and tools.
I actually find it pretty easy to model in maya. It is different than how I modeled in blender, but not too bad. The advantage I have is that I am in a class, meaning that I have three teachers I can talk to, and the rest of the class (for now, alot of people ask me questions. I seem to already be used to maya, and its been like two weeks) can help each other, so like if someone figures out something, they can tell other people, sorta spreading the knowledge around. I am working on a sword, but its being very annoying ATM.
