My first tutorial, for Vykk Draygo. Also for everybody looking for a tutorial that shows how you can make your character look like it's actually walking on your scene. It uses a target as a guide.
Made with Anim8or. Sceen captured with AviScreen. Audio recorded with Audacity because AviScreen can't record audio.
I'm sorry for the lagging video. I set the fps to 12 in AviScreen.
The audio I recorded while making the tutorial wasn't good for me so I made a different version that followed what I was trying to say in the first one. I'm not really good at explaining things. I hope you would understand the tutorial.
corrections/clarifications on the audio commentary:
0:57-0:59, end of the SEQUENCE in the scene, not end of the scene
2:12-2:17, 42 frames, not 48
2:44-2:48, match the figure to the target after each interval
3:22-3:28, target to the TOE

Thanks a lot, computeruser28! I can't believe I've been using Anim8or for years an never knew about targets and their usefulness in walking animations. Your tutorial makes it look pretty straightforward, and the results are very smooth. I will definitely try this method out next time I'm doing a walking sequence. In fact, maybe I'll try it out right now
!
Thanks again for taking the time, computeruser28 (
