So, their is that Star Wars fan film project I would love to revive when I have more free time (wait, free time, what is this?). Anyway, good luck on this project.
Looks like some good strong topology! The only mesh error I (might) see is in the hands, though I can't quite tell. Otherwise it looks fabulous. I'm looking forward to your updates!
yea there was a mesh error in the hands, I was trying to get in more edge loops into the fingers without increasing the amout in the arms by bringing the loops to an end at the base of the fingers. But I just removed them in the end, the fingers still llok good so its alright!
Are you working off a reference? some pieces of armor look a little out of place, like the chest piece, But maybe after texturing etc. it will fit in nicely.
The model is nice and clean, as for the edge loops; you might want to create a few more loops in certain places, to evenly distribute the amount of loops. There are parts now ( like the underarm) which have a very long stretch without a loop. By adding a loop in between the subdivision model will be better to control and animate.
I like the model proportionwise, even though in the last image the head looks a bit too big compared the body.
thanks! I based the body off of myslef and the head was only like an hour job so I am deleting it once the helmet is in. The chest piece is actually wrong and since my last update I have redone it 3 times and am starting to ZBrush things since this is going to be a game model

The helmet looks good! This looks very good so far for a game model though, what's the polycount so far?
The chest-piece looks much better as well.
