Nice stuff man. Congrats on the schooling. It sounds like you'll be pretty close to me when I go to USC in the fall!
The drawings look like a good start. I like how you included some reflections in the wrench. My main crit for it is just the quality of the lines, as they're a bit wavy and not very perfected (I'm a perfectionist.)
As for the face, it looks good as well, the nostril and end of the nose bug me a bit, they just seem like they're facing forward too much instead of down, but otherwise the shading looks pretty good.
What kind of classes are you taking there? It will certainly be different for me as I have to go through the liberal arts requirements as well, doing science, history, lit and all.
Nice, USC. I am getting an associates degree in Computer Animation at LA Film School. It's a 14(17 including 3 months of Demo Reel Creation) degree. The degree consists mainly of maya classes, but we have this art class, some game class, and two months of compositing classes. We have 5 general education classes, but I've taken 3 of them already, so I won't have any for a little bit. I really can't wait to get into Maya classes, I got my laptop(well, a second laptop) today, and got Maya 2010, Zbrush, and Adobe Master Collection CS5 with it, though I already have Maya 2011 and Adobe CS4 on my MacBook Pro.
Day 4: Same as before, traced original and then shaded with photoshop.
Hello, sorry I haven't updated in a while. Here is the final layout including all of my artwork from Object Perspective. I finished the class last week (95 woot), and am now taking 3D Foundations. I will hopefully get some higher detailed artwork a little later.
